Sorry for taking so long in replying.... I have NO information that my John Caruthers ever served in Germantown. I was responding to an earlier post by George Edwards, that had mentioned that John Caruthers, who's daughter Rebecca married John Carnahan (this is my line) was at Germantown. I was interested in where that documentation is.
The only info I have on my John Caruthers is that he married a Rebecca Orr, and they had at least one child, Rebecca who married John Carnahan. If you have any information on this John Caruthers I would be greatful. txs
