I have extensive documentation on John K. Castleman, but still alot of unanswered questions. On 4 June 1825, John K. Castleman was granted a league of land from the government of Mexico, in which he proved that he was a married man with a family. I do not know if John was previously married and divorced or not. John died around 1841 or 1842. Sarah, his wife remarried to a Samuel Miller and then to a William McDaniel. As I previously wrote, she had three children, James, Andrew, and John. An affadavit was written way after Sarah death, in which a gentleman stated that apparently John had died, Andrew was in Falls County, Texas. He did not know where James was at. I do, James went to Madison County, Arkansas. I can not understand how or why he moved to Arkansas. Anyway, I descend from James Casselman (his spelling).
