It is my understanding that David Caudy m #2 Rebecca Nolind/Noland in Pike Co., OH Jan. 30, 1834 and had a son Hosea b abt 1837, OH. Do you know anything about Hosea? In 1850 David Caudy (Candy) shows up on the 1850 Seal, Pike Co., OH census record with sons Robt & Hiram, wife Rebecca and son Hosea.
