Lookin for son or grandchildren of above man who was married to my grand aunt Catherine Higgins or Kilmovee, Co. Mayo, born 1897, they married in the 20s in the US and had 2 sons John F. and Michael G. Cawley (born 1929). John died in 1944 in a drowning accident. John's father was Batty Cawley from Moygara, Ballymote and there were 8 in family all emigrated to US. Their mother outlived all her children. In 1930 census the family were living in Essex, Newark, New Jersey.
Also Catherine Higgins sister Mary Kennedy who married John Kennedy and also settled in New Jersey. By 1930 they had 4 children - John Jr., Irene, Catherine & William. Would love to know what happened to my cousins. There was no contact after the 1940s.
