Texas 2009 Drought helps finds unmarked graves.

Some parts in Texas are experiencing a sever drought this year.
Especially here in Brazoria County,Texas.

I am a member of the historical cemetery committee here in Brazoria County.
The committee has been trying to locate unmarked graves in some of our Historical Cemeteries during this past year.
Due to the severe drought I notice the grass had turned brown in my yard and through out the city were drainage pipes had been installed.
This started me thinking about unmarked graves, so I visited one of our local cemeteries and sure enough the plots that were located in direct sunlight were brown with green grass out lining the plot.
I was able to locate several unmarked graves in this local cemetery because of the drought.
With around a 140 cemeteries here in Brazoria County I may run out of time checking all of them before the rain comes and turn everything back to green.

BJ.
