Hi Michael...I've been looking for this information for you for a long time and have finally found it. Last night in fact. From the City of Colton Death Register (yes, I found one):

Page 35, enrty # 366:
Leger Mona Sept. 6 (1900),White, 47 (age) M (male) France (nativity) Tumor of the spleen (cause) Dr. J. A. Champion (physician) Buried in San Bernardino (Remarks)

Burial in San Bernardino could be the old pioneer cemetery or MT. View. Mt. View is now a Dignity owned cemetery and they are not very non-relative look-up friendly. Although I know some people have had no problems. I could try to see if they would help me. Here is their information:

Mountain View Cemetery of San Bernardino, 570 East Highland Avenue, San Bernardino, CA. 92404-4002; 909-882-2943

At Pioneer I may have better luck but here is their information:

Pioneer Memorial Cemetery, 211 E. 9th Street, San Bernardino, CA. 92410-4408, 909-885-6484.

At least you now know where NOT to look. Very few entries say where the burial was so you are lucky there.

Take Care, Pat
