Still looking for a way to break down my Brick Wall! Mary Emmaline Alexander b. 12 Jan. 1841? no proof. Census states her parents were born in Kentucky. One sister I know of: Susan F. Alexander ...lived with Meridith Swope family...listed as "Orphan" in Census, Pettis Co. Mo. Married Mr. Pebley of Hughsville, Mo. Mary Emmaline Alexander married a Jesse Swope in Warrensburg, Johnson Co, MO. July 1865...lived in Pettis Co. Mo. died 1884 Thornleigh, Pettis Co. Mo.[ Longwood ] Does any one know my Great Grandmothers parents? I'm about ready to give up. Sharon in Missouri
