Seeking descendants of this marriage and family: William F. Alexander (see 1900 census Cove, Union Co Oregon) born July 1866 MO (believed to be son of the William F Alexander also on that census in Cove who was born KY) married Ida F. 'Fannie' Peal b.ca. 1876 MO. Ida F. Peal was the daughter of Virginia Wickliffe b. 25 Sept 1854 Benton Co. MO d. 20 Nov 1936 OR and her husband Enoch Frank Peal b. 4 Dec 1851 Benton Co MO d. 14 May 1927 Oregon. Enoch and Virginia are buried in Cove Cemetery, Union Co. Oregon. I am not sure how many children William F. Alexander and Ida F. Peal had because of that old 1890 census problem, but they had at least one: Virgil Franklyn Alexander born 20 March 1896 Union Co. Oregon died 3 Aug 1963 in Santa Maria, Santa Barbara Co. CA. Virgil had married Blanche Souza b. 7 March 1902 Oso Flaco, San Luis Obispo, CA. I understand there is an obit for Virgil in the Santa Maria Times but I do not have a copy of it. Would like a copy if anyone gets it.
