I'm looking for information on Janet Allan (b. WFT Est. 1729-1777) married to James Brookes (b. WFT Est. 1723-1774), and had a daughter named Rachel Brookes (b. WFT Est. 1762-1801). Rachel Brookes married Peter Laidlaw WFT Est. 1781-1835 and had a son named Peter as well. Peter Laidlaw (jr.) was born WFT Est. 1794-1823 and married Margaret Gordon, who was born in Westruther, Scotland. Peter Laidlaw (jr.) died in 1873 in Westruther, Scotland.
