Has anyone found reference to a John Dayton Allyn, who would have been born around 1900? Family history is vague- to non-existent as to where he originated. From what is known about him, by his 4 children, who were all born in Oakfield NY (near Batavia), he lead a somewhat "colorful" life, but little is known about his origin.
