Purchased at a local auction~an original colonial document from the Colony of Connecticut, dated November 29, 1764.
To Samuel Walcott Allyn Constable of Windsor (an amount of money , British currency__6) to transporting Bethea Palmer and her child a transported person from Windsor to Suffield the said Bethea being delivered to me by the Constable of Windsor by warrant from authority by the Constable of Hartford in order that she might be transported from Constable to Constable to the town where she belonged near Boston in the Province of Massecute Bay.

These are not my family. I purchased the document for historical interest. It has been professionally framed by a previous owner ( a beautiful job also)and based on a sticker applied to the frame was apparently hanging in a gallery a one time.
