Steve: I hope this will help a little, not related , only helping where possible; I take it you have the 1910 census; 1920 AR Lawrence Co. Dist 180, image 26 237/242 B/P ___? Nelson 24 ILL Ida wife 39 KY Ed. F Lumley SS 18 AR Tina SD 16 " Johnie SS 14 Lizzie SD 12 Ceila SD 9 Ora SD 6 Willie SS 4 10/12 1930 AR Cross Co. Hickory Ridge, Dist 6, image 12 112/120 Jasper Folk 33 Mar#1atage29, Ida wife 42 Mar#1atage 13 KY Emmagene 2 10/12 AR Julia 1 4/12 " Willie Lumley SS 14 AR 1930 Glass Co. Dist 15. image 6 52/52 Edd Lumley 29 Mar#1atage 21, farmer AR Dell 31 Mar#1atage23 Elizabeth 4 AR Wandaler? 1 " Daughter Your Bud W. Lumley, on the 1910 census states he was married before his marriage to Ida (mar 8 yrs), He was born about 1865, and they were living in Craighead County. Do you have any idea what the Bud stood for? There was a John Lummly b Oct 1861 on the 1900 Craighead Co.census, married to a Susan with 5 children, a brother William and a nephew Ollie , if they divorced, and he started another family, perhaps with Ida? He died at Craighead Co Aug 5 1943. As John Wes Lumley. And was listed in 1930 census: 1930 Craighead Co. John W. Lumley 69 Mar#1atage 22 Abby A. Mar#1atage 19. Any other clues? I could try for more information. Howard Boswell |
