Looking for information related to my wife's g-grandparents, John Harvey Lloyd and Sarah Elizabeth Hayes (1875 AR-1947 Hunt Co., TX). Particularly interested in Sarah family. Information I have recently found indicates that she was adopted. Funeral Home records and death certificate state that her parents were Stuart (maybe Stewart) Bay and Harriett McAlister. I found a Harriett Bay in the 1880 census in Bradley Township, Van Buren County. On this census Harriett has two daughters, Jennie (8) and Sarah (5). I am interested in any information related to these two families as well as the Hayes family that apparently adopted her.
