Looking for any information on Orlando Bagley, b.abt 1790 in Waterboro. Orlando Bagley was guardian for 3 minor children of Thomas Bean, (b 1774 Brentwood, NH) of Waterboro when his estate was settled in 1831. Would like to know his relationship to Bean family. Thomas Bean was brother of James Bean who were both sons of Richard and Mary-----of Waterboro, both were b. in Rockingham Co., NH, as were Orlando's parents, John and Hannah French. Could Richard's wife Mary have been a Bagley? Also, Thomas' niece, Apphia Bean, daughter of James and Mary Russell Bean, m. Ahira Baker, son of Alexander Douglass and Mary Bagley Baker of Shapleigh. Mary was born in ME in 1770. Could she have been sister of Orlando Bagley? His parents John and Hannah French Bagley m. in Kingston, Rockingham co., NH June 24 1769. As Uncle to Thomas' niece Apphia, it could have made sense for Orlando to assume guardianship of Thomas' minor children since they lived in Waterboro. Thank you for any help. Barbara
