Looking for information on my Bailey line: Alanson Bailey was born in New York between 1810 and 1813. He died in 1892 in Pennsylvania. He was married to Mary Farley. In the 1850 US Census for Mercer Co., Pa: Lanson Baily, 37, Laborer, born in New York Mary, 34, born in New York Sarah Anne, 9, born in PA Ithamer, 7, born in PA Homer, 5, born in PA Samantha, 2, born in PA My line is Samantha Bailey. She was born 08-14-1848 in Pa and died 03-26-1925 in Sandy Creek, Mercer Co., Pa. On 05-11-1867 she married William Brooks (12-25-1843 to 02-06-1914.)William was a captain in the Civil War and the son of Samuel Brooks, Jr., and Rebecca Caldwell. They had 11 children: Bertie, Hettie May, Minnie Idella (married Fredrick Peterson,)Florence, Edwin, Mary Luella, Blanche, Clara, William Leroy, Stephen, and Vernon. Any information on Alanson Bailey would be appreciated!!
