Thanks so much for replying. My mother, cousin and I who have been doing the family genealogy for years have assumed that perhaps she was related in some way. This is in part due to Nancy's circumstances. Her daughter, Mary, had just been born a few months before and she wasn't married. Both her parents were dead and we don't know how she had been living since the death of her father in 1853. I'll keep digging and will definitely get back to you if I find something. Hoping to travel to Hardin Co, TN someday to do some research there.
