Ray H. Bailey

Mr. Ray H. “Garbell” Bailey, 72, of Poca passed away May 23, 2009.
Garbell was retired from Local No. 1353; former employee of Union Boiler and a member of the 15th Street Church of God in Nitro.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Addie Bell Bailey; and three brothers Kenneth, Patrick, and Jackie.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Dolores Pickens Bailey; daughter, Jodie and husband Darlie Withrow of Cross Lanes; son, Daniel and wife Jerri Bailey of Black Betsy; brothers, Sam, Paul, Mike, Lee, Johnny and Bill; sisters, Bethleen McLane and Anna Ruth Hawley; four grandchildren, Justin, Angel, Logan and Blake; and great-grandchild, Jayce.

A tribute to the life of Mr. Ray H. Bailey will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, at Gatens-Harding Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Delbert Hawley and Rob VanFossen officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memory Gardens, Red House. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
