Norma Jean Bailey Chesnutt, 77, Blountville, Sullivan Co
TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, following an
extended illness.

She was born in Hawkins Co TN, and was a member of Charity
Baptist Church in Blountville. She attended Graham Bible
College, and enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. Norma
always had a joyful and cheerful spirit about her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hack and Gertrude
Bailey; brother, Clinton Bailey; sisters, Nina Love and
Joan Tate.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Paul Chesnutt;
several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and
nephews; and a special friend, Frankie Hodge of Roan
Mountain, TN.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the
staff of Holston Manor in Kingsport, TN, and Clara Williams.

Calling hours are from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Sunday, July 5,
2009, at Johnson Funeral Home of Church Hill, TN.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m., in
the funeral home chapel with Rev. Perry Cleek and Rev.
Charles Brooks officiating. Pallbearers will be family and
friends.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday following the
Funeral service at Church Hill Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building
fund of Charity Baptist Church, 123 Oak St, Blountville,
TN, 37617.
