By any chance, do you know if William B. Baines was from Hamilton, Ontario? I'm just starting to research my Baines line. My gg grandparents James E. Baines (Sr.) and Anna French Baines emigrated from Birmingham, England to Hamilton (best guess) 1850's. I will check my records to see if William B. was a brother to my g grandfather James E. Baines (Jr.) or if I can establish some other connection. A shot in the dark, but worth taking a look! Will be back in touch via this forum.
