Samuel Greenberg Bains (7/9/1861-6/23/1939 Murphy, NC) was the son of John and Mary Bains. It's important to note that Sam did not add the (e) to his last name as most of his siblings had. Sam was a farmer and lived in the Farner, TN area. His death certificate can be located at Murphy, NC. His wife was Balzera Nations. their children are as follows: Jeter Pretrard, Ida, Nancy, James Karo, Josh/preacher, Anna, Jenny. I know for sure, even one of his grandsons has not added the (e) to his name.
