I have been researching the names on a memorial in Sheffield Cathedral which remembers the policemen and firemen who fell in the Great War 1914-18 The result of this research is on my website http://www.stannington.webitsmart.co.uk/ in the 'Sheffield' sectoin. There are details relating to Joseph Baines and his family. He was a policeman. He married in 1911, to Ivy Wilson. Did they have children? Can anybody tell me more Kind regards Robert.
