maybe this will be of some use to someone. my grand mother called mema by her family known as sarah bertena but her birth. cert, says bertie baines. her birth cert. reads; born june 29, 1887 in ballinger, runnels tx. father; alexander clinton baines age 41, farmer, born in alabama. mother; mary terrell age 29, born tenn. mema died 12-8-1971 84yr,5mo, and 9 days; she died in campbell calif. and burried in oak hill memorial park in san jose, santa clara, calif. grave no.3, lot 2213 wistaria lawn. cliftoncrump@yahoo.com
