Martha married William Whitehead and they are in the 1880 Travis county Tx, census with Pinkney, Christopher, Wylie. There are a couple of grandchildren listed, Willie, Maggie, and Belle. Martha & William Whitehead's children: Thomas Whitehead, b. 1873 TX Sudey Whitehead, b. 1876, TX Dona Whitehead, b. 1878, TX Ida Whitehead, b. 1880, TX Mary L Bains (no husband listed) children: Willy, b 1866, TX Maggie, b. 1867, TX Bell, b.1968, TX I was sorting old hand written records of my great Uncle Oran Bains (son of Wyley Bains who was the youngest boy of Henry/Pinkney) and found this entry -- Bell Whitehead married Jeff Shannon and raised 4 girls 2 boys Lola, Laura, Katie, Rosie, Fletcher, Andrew, Admiral. I know this may create more confusion, but you are connected to the Henry/Pinkney family. I would love to hear more about your line if possible. If I find any more information, I will let you know. I have also found a "note" saying that Mary L. Bains may have married a "Davis". Pinkney Bains lived in Hutto,TX until she died. Redmond was the son of Henry Sr. and brother to Henry Jr.(Ido have more info.) |
