I have a unique background in that my father, John Stanley Baines was unofficially adopted and assumed the name of Smith by the people who brought him up. I know he had a bunch of sisters born in the late 1800's. Their parents (my grand parents) were Beatice and Fredrick Baines of London UK. Contact me if can fill in some of the gaps.
