Richmond Baines b. 1814 NC is related to the Greene Co, AL Baines. His father was Henry Baines, b. 1779 NC & mother was Bedy Jordan b. 1785 Pitt Co, NC. Henry & Bedy were married either in 1806/1808 Johnston Co, NC. Henry Baines is listed on the 1820 Nash Co NC census as a farmer with wife, Bedy, and children: sons, Littleberry b. 1809 NC; Richmond b. 1814 NC; Henry b. 1816 NC & Jordan b. 1818 NC. One daughter, Francis b. 1812 NC is also listed. The Henry Baines family migrate from NC to Greene Co AL as Henry & his family are listed on the 1830 Greene Co AL census including two additional daughters: Levisa b. 1824 NC & Bedy b. 1827 AL. Henry b. 1779 & wife, Bedy, b. 1785 & daughter, Bedy. b. 1827 AL were listed on the 1850 Greene Co AL census with his son, Henry b. 1816 NC & wife, Pinkie Mobley b. 1820 SC & their family.
