I love Leonards Work for his time and what he put into it was truly amazing. Just think he didn't have a computer.
Also when I purchased the Bible from Debbie Wilson I had no Idea where it was going to take me. Among the Items I purchased from her were documents from Leonard L. Barnhill.
I found his initial letters funny and cute. So don't let the curls get to you. I am down loading in a separate blog all the death records that concern Barnhill's from South Caroline, Missouri and Kentucky.
Also I have been placing Draft Cards From WWI on the Barnhills and varations of spellings.
I am not a celebrity Genealogist. However, celebrities are coming to me.
The Bible that Debbie had held secrets and I used my genealogy ability to unlock all of its hidden secrets and treasures.
I just received 4 more pages from a John Varne who is related to Oliver Paul Barnhill through his Great Uncle James Barnhill who married Hannah Boone.
Genealogy is so fun to work and its the stories that I get and the photo's.
Not all is honky dory with that part of the Barnhill family. As we speak one them is currently being disbarred from practicing law in New Hampshire. New Hampshire is not kind to corrupt people they show all trials on the Web.
Also Leonard's father death record is located on line through Missouri.
Just like I said what Leonard did was a amazing and he had a bit of sense of humor in his work.
PS Stan without us people working Genealogy History would hurt. Because people tend to forget the little people and the little people is what build this couuntry. Leonard peserved history that he spent money putting it together for us to read and go over it. Its like he left us history. And for that we should be in his debt and my God Bless his soul and for him for what he did.
