my grandmother was traverso-basso,her mother name was maria basso and she was born in gavi-genoa.there is a lot of bassos in argentina; my godfather,who was second cousin of my mother,name was guillermo, he died long time ago,but his son and grandson are doctors en argentina,if you are interested in this branch of the family,i can try to find their addresses...can you write Spanish?.Also you can send direct e-mails to me.hope i helped you (?)
