I know extremely little about his life in Germany or his ancestors. The only clues I have are: * His father's name was Peter Beil * Family legend says he was running from police and came over with 3 other men in a 17-foot boat. * In America he was a carpenter * He lived in Ohio for a few years before moving to Kentucky. I'd like to know more about your Biel family. Does any of this information ring a bell?
