Hi Deby, I don't have any of that line in my Bettis limb of the tree, but in researching my line I came across a great book which included a lot of information on the Elijah branch of the family. It is a history of Wayne county, Missouri and it's early settlers. If I remember correctly, it is titled simply, the History of Wayne County, Missouri. It might be The Early History. It has been several years since I saw it. Good Hunting.
