From South Carolina to Tennessee to Missouri.... Am looking for Blackwell families in South Carolina the last of the 1700s and early 1800s. One name is Sylvester Blackwell, parents names not known. Sylvester Blackwell married a Martha Griggs. They were parents of a daughter, Lydia Jane Blackwell, born on Jan. 20, 1847 in Tennessee. Sylvester died in Greene County, Missouri.
