Looking for information on the family of John Frank Bossart born abt 1856. I have no information at all on this line. John married Jane Agnes Shoup of Blairsville, PA abt 1876 whose parents were Rufus Shoup and Mary Polly Palmer. In 1878 they had William R (rufus, I believe), next is Violet Elsie (Elsie married name Miller dies around age 40) and Rose Edna(my great grandmother) married a Ward Edward Harpster whose family lived in the Ashland, Ohio area. I do not find any information on their son William after the 1880 census in which they are living in Susquehanna. I believe John and Jane divorce? The 1900s she is remarried? By 1900 only Jane and the daughters show up in the census? I have pictures that I am told is John Bossart and he is an older man in these pictures. So I am assuming divorce? I do know that he was a Brakeman for the railroad. Also have pictures of him by the train. I found an old land map for the Blairsville area that did list a Bossart property? Any information on Bossart lines in the Blairsville, PA or surrounding areas would be a great help.
