Did you happen onto the Biddinger forum because Caroline BOWNE Lawrence married Henry Bedinger? She was the d/o John Watson Lawrence of Flushing, Queens, NY. Perhaps her mother was a Bowne. The two men served in the legislature together. Perhaps you can obtain a bio on Lawrence from the Library of Congress or the National Archives.
