Trying to find out if Jemima Brainard and Jemima Brainerd are the same person. I have JEMIMA BRAINARD b. Haddam Neck, CT and married to Abel Abell with at least one daughter, Martha Abell b.5/1/1806. I have JEMIMA BRAINERD b. 12/23/1776 in Chatham, CT to Ozias and Elizabeth Brainerd. Several brothers and sisters. Can anyone tell me if they are the same person or not?
