John D. Brendle b.10-18-1816 Burke County, NC married Eliza McCoy b. 1818 and settled in Cherokee County.. John D. is the 2nd son of Henry Nichols Brendle b. 7-28-1788 Rowan Co. & Mary Bevins and the grandson of Johannes “John” Brendel b. 6-23-1746.died in Lincoln Co. After John D. was born Henry family moved to Haywood County and died 3-12-1857 burial at Green Hill Cemetery, Jackson Co., NC. Dean Tillman
