My grandfather's name was John Brendle, born in Belleville sometime around 1890. Two of his brothers were my great uncle's Anthony and Benjamin. Both John and Uncle Benny moved to St. Louis while Uncle Tony moved to Council Bluffs, IA. Could these be some of the people to which you refer?
