I am tracing my grandfather, A. L. Brinkley, who was 26 in the 1860 Census of Rapides Parish. Listed with A. L. is J. W. also 26 and believed to be A. L.'s twin. Also, a James Brinkley. There is a William Brinkley in another parish. I also found this marriage when we were in Rapides Parish and have wondered who her Brinkley parents were. If you are connected with A.
