I am searching for my great-grandmother. Her name is a derivation of Roxie Ann McCune (Rox Anne, Roxanne, etc.). She was born about 7 Feb 1875 in Franklin County, VA. Her father was John McCune and she married Edward Johnson Brumfield 7 Nov 1894 in Virginia. She gave birth to two daughters and two sons--first daughter born 1896 in Pittsylvania County, VA. Last child (a son) born in Salem, VA 1904. She disappeared shortly after that. I did find a Roxie Brumfield in the 1920 census that listed her residence as East River, Mercer Co, West Virginia. She was listed as a boarder with the J.W. and Mary Thompson family. The John McCune family moved possibly to Pike Missouri, but when Roxie married Edward Brumfield, they were in Virginia.
