I am looking for anyone who has any information on the following people. My Dad is 83 years young & was put into the Thomas Corum Foundling Hospital London & babtised with another name - Ralph Foden. His original name was Stanley Caffrey. (b 03.03.1919 in Seven Kings Ilford Essex) His mother Nellie Winifred Caffrey (b10.02.1897)married an Alfred John Bayley (m 01.11.1924) & had a daughter called Audrey Jean Alfreda Bayley (b 19.08.1925) Just to confuse things his farther was also his Great Uncle - Henry Caffrey (b possiblly 1878 in Alverstoke)then moved to Canada to join another brother who already lived out there where Henry joined the Canadian Army & served at Dover Castle. Nellie's father was John Caffrey (b 1872? - died 10.12.1915 in Wolverhapton m Edith Agnes Chiverton 07.01.1893) John & Edith Caffrey had several children - Mary (b 13.12.1894), Elsie Kate (b 21.06.1904), Edith Evelyn (b 04.03.1902) & Nellie. There are several other pieces of information regarding marriages ect... & a Thomas Caffrey who keeps popping up on the certificates as a witness - who is he? We are desperate to trace any decendants or living relatives. Dad never had parents when he was growing up & I never had grandparents. We would like to know if there is anyone out there who can help us in our search. PLEASE PLEASE HELP. Kind regards to you all. Caroline
