You information is most helpful. I do believe we are related. The following is information I have. 1 James CALHOUN ---------------------------------------- Father: CALHOUN NOTE: From Vera Gooding's family history - James and Margaret CALHOUN came to the United States from England in the early 1800's. James & Margaret were of Scotish descent. They lived in Montgomery County, in or near Mount Vernon, GA. The year of birth and deaths are unknown. --------------------------------------------------------- Spouse: Margaret UNK Birth: abt 1825, North Carolina, Marr: Children: James (Jim) (~1838-) Alexander (Sandy ?) (~1840-) Mary E. (~1847-) Drusilla (1849-) 1.1 James (Jim) CALHOUN ---------------------------------------- Birth: abt 1838, Montgomery County, GA2 Occ: Confederate soldier/ Railroad Worker on 1870 Census 1.2 Alexander (Sandy?) CALHOUN ---------------------------------------- Birth: abt 1840 The name Sandy Calhoun does not appear with Margaret Calhoun on the 1860 Census. There is an Alexander who was 20 at the time.
