Edmond Caruthers was md. to Lucretia Stacy in Lincoln Co., N.C. in 1789. She was dau. of Benedict & Sarah Haskinds Stacy. Edmond & Lucinda (aka Mary, or Polly) had children: (1) Lucretia who md. James Ready in Rutherford Co., Tn. in 1826,(2) Thomas Caruthers, (3) Edmond (Ed) Caruthers, and (4) Maxwell Caruthers who md. Mary Faulkenberry and they were in Cannon Co. Tn. in 1840, 1850 and 1860. (Lucretia) Mary Caruthers, widow of Edmond is in Cannon Co. also and court records of Dec. 1827 show that Edmond is deceased. Does anyone know who parents of Edmond Caruthers are? Thanks.
