I am trying to find information about John Cavanaugh/Cavner and his wife Honora (nickname: Ann). They had one son, Michael who was born about 1848 either in Ireland or in Kentucky. John died soon after (in or around Louisville?) and Ann (Honora) married again to James Bird, on 26 January 1851 in Louisville. Michael Cavner added the Bird surname to his, and he and his half-brother came to New Orleans around 1870. Ann and James Bird appear to have died before then.
