The Eliza Catherine Champenois referred to in your message who was born in Berne in 1838 may be my great-great grandmother who is buried in the Old Stone Fort Cemetery in Schoharie, NY. She married George Washington Keyser who died in the Civil War and was buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
