McNairy County, TN Erwin and Related Families Reunion
Descendants of the McNairy County Erwins and their extended families are invited to join us in a gathering at the Stantonville Civic Center on Saturday, September 30, 2000.
We will gather as early as 10 am and have a potluck lunch. You can stay as long as you would like and share stories to the group.
Send your family group sheet to me and I will have it included into the overall tree that will be posted on the wall. If you don't have a group sheet, start working on them now and bring them with you. We will include it. We will print a participant sheet and their Erwin connection, and address for everyone.
Genealogist and family researchers are invited to help answer those mysterious questions we all are asking. We will have tables set up to help each other with holes in our family trees. Bring your books and worksheets to share.
Maps will be available showing the cemeteries you can visit. There will be large copies of photographs, land grants, other documents - even a Civil War diary written by Narcissa L. Erwin Black about the Erwin relatives in that area.
Some of the family names include McCann, Carman, Perkins, McKennzie, Kerr, Veale, Holeman, Hurst, Cathey, Brandon, Alexander, Darnell, Burks and on and on. If you are not sure you are related, come to the reunion or respond and a group of us will check if you relate to the McNairy County Erwins.
