Colonel Samuel Henry Lockett a famous Confederate Officer and Engineer died in Bogota, Columbia, South America on 10/12/1891 while working for the US Government. His wife and daughter Ettie were at his side when he died, but is he buried there? His wife, son and daughter-in-law, daughter, and some of his grandcildren are buried in a New Jersey cemetery, but he is not with them. Was his body brought back to the US for burial?
