My bad; I sometimes forget to include source info. My information came from "Roster of Wisconsin Volunteers; War of the Rebellion". I left out one other bit of info. At one point in his career with the 13th, he was detailed to assist the General Staff as an Assistant Engineer. The timing, as well as the length of this assignment, was not recorded.
