I am looking for the parents of William Nelson (Bill) Cochran of Gilmer County, GA that married Mary Orton in 1884. Bill was born in Georgia in 1860. Both of his parents were born in NC according to the 1900 and the 1910 census for Bill. The book "A Little History of Gilmer County" has erroneous information for this William and all the children shown to Henry Cochran and Mary Ann Ellis. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
