Have come across some info that my ancestor, James Cockrum, b. abt. 1774 in S.C., (married Catherine Rhoades, surname has many spelling variations), was the son of Benjamin Cockerham. Have no info on Benjamin, and trying to confirm. Can anyone help me or tell me where to start looking online? Or is anyone of this line that would be willing to share with me. Have a desc. report on John Cockrum and Wife Catherine that I would be willing to share. Thank You, Mary
