Have learned my Henry Conder/Condor was born in Kentucky in Nov. 1848, son of Ewen and Lucinda Conder. Lucinda seems to be Lucinda Mills, daughter of Henry Mills and Sarah Scott. All these people lived in Oakton, Hickman County, on the Mississippi River and many died in a cholera epidemic in fall 1852. Ewen Conder was born in Tennessee about 1819, son of D. Conder and Nancy Cochran, born about 1787, daughter of Samuel and Susan Cochran. Am still looking for this D. Conder, perhaps in Hickman, Perry, Decatur and nearby counties in Tennessee. Perhaps his name was Daniel or David.
