I posted this once, and it disappeared, so if the original post does turn up -- sorry. John Conder, b. abt 1824 in North Carolina, married Elizabeth Hastings of Bedford County, Tennessee around 1849. Between 1851 and 1875 they had eight children: Frances, Sarah, Mary, Jonathan, Emmitt, James, Minnie & Lillie. They are on the 1880 census for Marshall CO, Tennessee, and then they vanish (except for James Wesley, who registered for WWI and then turns up in Texas as a railroad conductor). But I can't find anything on the rest of them after 1880. Does anybody fit into this line?
