I have been told that my Fathers family came from Kentucky. I am just starting to look at this information. What I do know is that my Grandfather was a twin. His name was George Washington Cruse. However, I have been told he changed the spelling of the last name from Crews to Cruse. He did this sometime around 1925. His twin brothers Name was Thomas Jefferson Crews. They were born on February 22 (George Washington's birthday). I have heard stories that their father was married to three wives and had seven children by each wife. I have not verified any of this. If any body has information on this family tree, I would love to know about it.
